Description

The 445891-001 is the HP LTO3 half height Ultrium920 SAS drive for the MSL and G2 series tape library.

The Ultrium 920 half height tape drive is the third generation in the LTO Ultrium family and was manufactured by HP for many vendors including Dell, Tandberg, Compaq, Overland and others for use in libraries, autoloaders and of course as standalone internal and external drives.

The Ultrium 920 offers 400GB native capacity or 800GB compressed capacity on a single tape at speeds of up to 420GB per hour. Data rate matching adjusts data transfer to the speed of the host giving an overall performance advantage over similar drives of this age as well as exceptional reliability.

In addition the drive’s One-Button Disaster Recovery provides the easiest way to restore data in the event of a disaster. The Ultrium 920 tape Drive makes an excellent workhorse for all-around data protection.

All stock HP LTO drives have been fully refurbished by our factory trained engineers and have passed a series of manufacturer diagnostic tests designed to test the read write performance of the LTO drive.

This refurbished product comes complete with a full 6 month return to base warranty.
